Faith, hope, and love are three pillars in the Kingdom of God. Of these love is the greatest. But even greater than love is obedience. If we are not obedient to God, then we do not have genuine love for God. The fact that Christ said, "If you love Me, keep My commandments" does not seem to phase the preachers of "love.".
The Power Behind Your Faith, Hope, and Love. The holy triad of faith, hope, and love is found multiple times in the New Testament. Many people the world over are familiar with 1 Corinthians 13:13, "And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love." But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, long-suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, the fruit. Galatians 5:16-18 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh…. Psalm 1:3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.
There are two things that this passage teaches us: 1) we learn that faith, hope, and love abide in heaven. We get to heaven by faith in the risen Lord Jesus (Rom. 10:9-10) and that faith will not end when we get there. 2) And we learn that love is superior to faith and hope in heaven.
